A community for deep tech founders
Make things humanity requires.
Not what the market wants. What the future needs.
"Make something people want" works. It builds companies. It returns capital.
It does not move humanity forward.
Optimizing for want tailors to an ego-centric convenience. Optimizing for requirement forces you toward the solution that equates to humanitarian progress. Often (but not always) this has energy, biology, materials, space, transportation or semiconductor technology at its core.
The bar is simple and unforgiving: will this still matter in 50 years? Will it have made something better for people who didn't ask for it, didn't know to ask for it, and couldn't have built it themselves?
That's the filter. Long-term benefit to humanity.
Not next month's traction.
Not trends.
The good exit will follow.
This community is for the founders building to that standard.
What is it
An on- and offline group of deep tech founders. We help each other succeed, with our mission first and a deep respect for others who do the same.
We stick together because foundership is lonely. Most tech entrepreneurs don't get us. And most of us came from science, so we sharpen our business minds together.
Who gets in
- Deep tech & Hard tech only.
No, an agentic wrapper is not deep tech. - Founders and scientists with real intent to start.
Not advisors. Not ecosystem builders. Not consultants. - If you are engineering something that addresses a current or long-term challenge for humanity at scale, you belong here.
Request ambitiously
Don't shrink your asks. Your mission is too important for politeness to slow it down.
Reciprocal expectation
